Some Guidelines for Charging Batteries

NiMH:

• For slow charging: C/10 for 15 hours
• For fast charging: C/3.33 for 5 hours
• For fastest Charging: C for 1.5 hours

NiCd:

• For slow charging: C/10 for 15 hours
• For fast charging: C/3 for 5 hours or C/5 for 8 hours
• For fastest Charging: C for 1.5 hours

General:

C = Batteries discharge capacity (eg. 1500mAh). For fast or fastest it is a good idea to discharge cells to 1v before charging (eg. Discharge a 6 cell pack to 6v). This will prevent cells from getting a memory.
